Mindfulness is a present moment awareness. It is experiencing the power of attention and intention. It is the ability to be present, cognizant of the WHOLE Self (Spirit, Brain, Mind, Body), others, and the environment. Mindfulness is giving close and caring attention (without judgment) to the present moment, freeing yourself from the habits of your mind that hinder ease, focus, and wellbeing.
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique, such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, your breath or activity, to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally, clear, and emotionally calm and stable state.
