ProCure Therapeutic Agency, Inc. provides SAIOP (Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program) & SACOT (Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment) services for Adult consumers. Both substance abuse programs are time-limited, and set up for individuals to begin recovery, learn skills for sustaining recovery, and recovery maintenance. The SA programs focuses on reduction in use and abuse of substances or continued abstinence, the negative consequences of substance abuse, development of social support network and necessary lifestyle changes, educational skills, vocational skills leading to work activity by reducing substance abuse as a barrier to employment, social and interpersonal skills, improved family functioning, the understanding of addictive disease, and the continued commitment to a recovery and maintenance program.
While participating in the substance abuse programs the individual will receive an array of services: individual counseling and support, group counseling, family counseling, urine drug screens, strategies for relapse prevention, life skills, crisis contingency planning, disease management, and treatment support activities that have been adapted or specifically designed for individuals with physical disabilities; or individuals with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse or dependence.
